"A contractor friend of mine came in and thought they were real ceramic tiles."
That's the ultimate compliment for any peel and stick tile, and it's exactly what our customer, Sue, experienced after her recent kitchen upgrade.
She used our Colamo Carrara white peel and stick subway tiles to transform her kitchen, and the final look is simply stunning.
Her story also shows just how straightforward the process was.
A Look at Sue's DIY Process
Beyond the beautiful final photo, Sue also shared how she achieved the look.
Here are a few moments from her installation that show how a pro-level look comes together:
1. The Right Tools (Are Simple Tools)
There's no need for a messy wet saw. Sue mentioned she kept it simple, noting "I used an exacto knife!"
Her photos show that a sharp blade, a cutting mat, and a ruler are all you need for perfectly precise cuts—even around tricky outlets.

2. Planning for the Final Touches
Sue also knew how to "seal the deal" on her professional finish. Her in-progress photos show she was already planning for the details.
She mentioned her next step was to "caulk the corners and put my outlet covers on." These are the simple, final touches that integrate the tiles into the space, making the backsplash look permanent and built-in.
A Stunning Result, a Simple Process
Sue's story is the perfect example of how a beautiful result doesn't have to mean a difficult process.
When you start with a tile you love, the installation can be just as rewarding. As Sue said in her review, "I love how it turned out." We do too!
