Are these tiles easy to cut and install?
Yes. Colamo tiles are designed for easy DIY installation. For detailed cutting and installation steps, please refer to the Colamo Tile Installation Guide.
Does this go over existing tile?
Yes! 🙋♀️Our tiles feature a rigid core and are thick enough to naturally bridge over deep grout lines.
However, try to ensure the surface is as flat as possible. If your existing tiles have texture, we recommend lightly sanding the surface.
For extra security on uneven surfaces, you can add some adhesive, like a spray adhesive to ensure proper bonding.
Before installation, use an all-purpose cleaner to remove any grease or residue. Always make sure the surface is dry and dust-free to ensure the best adhesion.
Can I install peel and stick tiles on textured walls (like orange peel)?
For best results, a smooth and flat surface is always recommended.
However, our peel and stick tiles can still be installed on lightly textured walls, such as orange peel. We’ve had many customers successfully apply them directly without sanding.
What to expect:
- Minor Gaps: On textured surfaces, you may notice that some tiles don’t sit perfectly flush—this is normal. A simple fix is to apply silicone caulk (just like grout) between the tiles. This helps fill small gaps and creates a cleaner, more finished look.
- Extra Security: If you are concerned about the wall texture affecting the bond, applying a bit of spray adhesive (such as 3M Super 77) to the wall before installation can provide extra peace of mind and ensure the tiles stay firmly in place.

Looks like and feels like wood. They have ridges in them but a smooth surface. They look amazing. Lightweight but not too light. Easy to install. They adhesive stick very well.
I do absolutely love these. It was so easy to work with, it didn't come with any instructions but you peel and stick them. I used and oscillating tool to cut the ones I needed and that worked just fin. I used some sandpaper to smooth it out and show a bit more of the gray and it looked like it was purchased. I've only had these up for a few days but so far no issues with the sticking. The box they come in does have this wrapped in an outer lay of styrofoam but no top of bottom. So if you just dump them out of the box they will fall all over the place. Just gently slide them out of the box but not all the way. The only bummer I have is that I need six more pieces to finish my project, what's in my photo is all 24 pieces with 4 of them being trimmed about two inches, so in order to finish I can either buy another box of 6 samples. It'd be nice if they sold like a half box but honestly these are great. If they start to move or anything I'll be back to update.
These are super pretty, they are thick and sturdy and super easy to install. I love the look of them and the way they feel.
Right out of the box (which was ripped and opened), you could see how nice these tiles were. They are not flimsy at all, and the surface has a light texture like wood. I pulled the backing off of the sticky a little and the adhesive is really sticky. I am really impressed with these tiles and would definitely recommend.

These are easy to use and can be used for a variety of projects. Nice quality and I love the color of the grains.
The martial is strong. Just well made all around. Only thing is they arent very large so you will need alot of then for any large product. Nice color.
This is very nice and looks exactly like the picture. Which is exactly what I wanted. The peel and stick also was very easy to work with and it stuck greatly. We will see how they hold up in time. I think the main selling point of peel and stick is that you don't have to mess with all the stuff required to install ceramic tile so this is definitely and easier solution. They look nice and you will be happy with them too. Not alot come in the box so make sure you measure the square feet you need, L x W , so you get the right amount.
This is such a fun and innovative product. The panels are packaged well to protect the edges and corners. I was so happy with the quality when I opened the box. The panels are actually cute - like little flooring planks.
I used mine behind a mirror that I updated in our master bathroom to create a framing at the edges. I hope the adhesive will stand the rest of time - it’s a gamble especially because I installed it in the bathroom.
I like almost everything about this product - my only wish is that the edges/grout lines would be a darker color to better match the wood a little better, instead of the very pale gray, almost white, that they are. Overall, I recommend these and would definitely buy them again myself.
